They say a win's a win, but in Liverpool's case their penalty shoot-out triumph over League One Carlisle is indicative of the malaise that has set in as Brendan Rodgers faces the toughest period of his tenure so far. The Anfield crowd even resorted to some uncharacteristic boos on Wednesday, with many having now lost faith in the manager.
