So let's get this straight.
Manchester City want Alexis Sanchez, and Arsenal want Sergio Aguero. But Manchester City aren't prepared to include Sergio Aguero in any deal to bring Alexis Sanchez to the Etihad. But they may be willing to include Raheem Sterling to sweeten the deal for Arsenal.
In the meantime, Manchester City want to sign former Manchester United defender Jonny Evans from West Brom. But it turns out that Arsenal now also want to sign Jonny Evans from West Brom, and may be willing to include Kieran Gibbs to make the deal happen. Confusing isn't the word.

City's interest in Evans is of course nothing new, but Arsenal's late bid certainly is. And whilst Blues' supporters have reacted surprisingly positively about an ex-Red Devil potentially joining their ranks, Arsenal fans have sent out an largely emphatic message: DO NOT WANT.

It seems a tad harsh about a player who has been the no-nonsense personification of calm and composure in his time at the Hawthorns, but clearly his name isn't sexy enough for the Emirates faithful. Or for this lot anyway...
