At least pretend to be excited
Arsenal away to Ostersunds FK in the Europa League on a Thursday may not be the most exciting fixture to analyse as a pundit, but we think even we could probably muster more enthusiasm than a non-plussed Paul Parker managed.
The former Manchester United and England full-back was on Sky Sports News to provide updates on the game, and he certainly didn't raise the roof in announcing the Gunners' opening goal in Sweden on the way to a 3-o victory.
It took 13 minutes for Nacho Monreal to score from close range after Ostersund goalkeeper Aly Keita fumbled Alex Iwobi's strike. Parker was giving a live update at the time, and managed to announce the goal as it happened...in the dullest way possible.
We get that, as a former Red Devil, Arsenal aren't exactly his favourite team. But next time, perhaps feign a little interest...
