Even before Jurgen Klopp took charge of Liverpool, there were strong footballing ties between Dortmund and Liverpool because the iconic anthem 'You'll Never Walk Alone' was frequently blasted out over the tannoy system at the Westfalenstadion before the German giants took the field.
