Following the hugely unpopular decision to raise ticket prices at Anfield, Liverpool's owners  appear to have scored another considerable PR own goal.

Liverpool supporters were already angered by the decision to introduce a new pricing structure for tickets, with the first £1,000 season ticket and some individual games costing £77. Following this, according to the Daily Telegraph, a post has been discovered on the the Fenway Sports Group website boasting about 'transforming fans into customers'. https://twitter.com/AnfieldEurope/status/695209989359693824 Unsurprisingly, Liverpool fans reacted angrily when news of the post filtered through to them. https://twitter.com/KINGCOL7/status/695248420739616769 https://twitter.com/andyranamj/status/695253853789261824 https://twitter.com/The_Red8_LFC/status/695247886804766720 https://twitter.com/Ack17Kirk/status/695257498375319552
