The Blues have moved on fast.

Chelsea have moved on from the sacking of Liam Rosenior, and fast.

With the Blues losing five games in a row without scoring a single goal, Blue Co decided an instant change was needed, reliving Rosenior of his duties.

Now heading to Wembley quickly on Sunday for the Leeds United clash, interim manager Calum McFarlane has now taken charge for the entirety of this campaign.

Past summer though, Chelsea will want to build and get back into the top 4, an unlikelihood this season with the club currently in 8th place.

The West London club have made their contacts quick, with reports from RMC Sport that the club have already started talks with Bournemouth's Andoni Iraola.

7th in the league after a late draw against Leeds United, the Cherries partook in their best ever campaign in the Premier League under the genius Basque manager last season.

This campaign, they look to go one further and achieve European football, which would be a first for the South Coast side.

Though despite this brilliant success, Iraola is leaving in the summer, and will be free to explore his options.

Former Borussia Dortmund gaffer Edin Terzic was also linked to the Chelsea job, though it has since been announced that he will be joining Athletic Bilbao.

A third initial option was Fulham's Marco Silva, with The Cottagers sitting 12th in the table.

It is yet to be known whether he would be interested in switching sides of West London.
