James McClean: ‘Jurgen Klopp is a bit of an idiot’

We've seen it all now.
We assumed that everyone in football was in love with Jurgen Klopp and his Liverpool charm offensive, but it turns out there's nobody who can sail against the tide like James McClean. The West Brom and Ireland winger is not a fan of the new Reds boss, calling him an 'idiot' in an interview with Sky Sports.
"I’ve got a lot of respect for the man because he done a great job at Dortmund," the player said.
McClean, however, was not impressed with Klopp's refusal to shake the hand of Tony Pulis after last Sunday's 2-2 draw at Anfield.
Klopp also had words with Baggies coach Mark O'Connor following Craig Gardner's tackle on defender Dejan Lovren.
"But I think he is a bit of an idiot to be honest on the game on Sunday. Win, lose or draw you have got to be respectful."Explore more on these topics:
