There are going to be some flights missed from Las Vegas to Dublin today.
The party in the desert could well continue on into September judging by the scenes arriving from the strip of the fight capital of the world.
Many believed that Irish fans would not be their usual omnipresent selves in Vegas as so many had bought tickets for UFC 200 after Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz II was slated for the July 9 event and, unable to cancel flights and hotels, were forced to use that as their fight card of the summer.
But the scenes emerging from the T-Mobile Arena in the wake of McGregor's redemptive victory over his Stockton foe would lead you to believe the opposite as the Irish were out in force to celebrate a return to form for their hero.
"There's only one Conor McGregor," echoed against the walls of the city's newest venue as supporters of The Notorious filtered out of the arena after the main event of UFC 202.

And once they reached the streets outside, it was of course a chorus of the one song a group of travelling Irish sports fans never forget to pack - 'The Fields of Athenry'.
