VIDEO: Defender somehow fails to score from on the goal line in contender for miss of the season

If, like us, you find there's something strangely watchable about a footballer missing a ridiculously easy chance to score a goal, this is definitely your cup of tea.
Holding on to a slender 2-1 lead against Feyenoord, PEC Zwolle look to have the perfect opportunity to seal a Valentine's Day victory. After a teammate's chip ricochets kindly off the crossbar, it seems that defender Kingsley Ehizibue is destined to add a third. As the ball bounces down on the goal line, all it requires it a touch... maybe not even that. Merely exhaling breath would be enough to carry the ball over the line. Somehow, poor Kingsley makes a fine old mess of things and manages to mistime his attempted header. We don't doubt that someone out there (probably a fellow defender) will try and argue that the ball comes at him too quickly, but we're having none of it. https://youtu.be/TmXAT4TTaeY Thankfully for Kingsley, the miss wasn't a costly one.
