With just ten points to show from their season so far, Newcastle United look set for a relegation battle in the months to come.

With Steve McClaren almost certainly feeling the pressure, reports of a training ground row with some of his senior players won't exactly help the Newcastle manager. GettyImages-493227678 According to Sky Sports, McClaren - along with members of his coaching staff - were caught up in an argument with several players on Monday as he accused them of lacking the determination required to represent the club. Fabio Coloccini, it is claimed, was singled out for criticism. The row was reportedly triggered when some of the players took exception to a refereeing decision, leading McClaren to take the opportunity to deliver his verdict on some of the effort levels displayed by some of the players.
