Sepp Blatter has backed out of his FIFA resignation with the oldest trick in the book - denying anything and everything.

The ex-President of the governing body is now the ex-ex-President, after refusing to ackowledge that his resignation speech actually meant he was resigning. Silly us. https://twitter.com/richard_conway/status/614350423495979008 If the original resignation was an act, it might just be the worst piece of acting we have seen since United Passions. Perhaps he's gearing up for a grand reveal about the 2022 World Cup: "I never awarded it to Qatar. I put the location of the tournament in the hands of the FIFA congress." All we know for now is that rumours of Blatter's demise were greatly exaggerated.
