Memphis Depay's return to his former club was marked by a goal.

After the long delay which followed Luke Shaw's broken leg, Depay opened the scoring for Manchester United with five minutes of normal time remaining in the first half. Cutting in from the left wing, Memphis beat a couple of defenders before slotting past the goalkeeper with his left foot. The home side were level five minutes later, when Hector Moreno, the man responsible for Luke Shaw's earlier broken leg, appeared to guide in despite the best efforts of Daley Blind.
