Manchester United enter race to sign Kevin De Bruyne

The Kevin De Bruyne saga may be about to take a huge twist.
According to Christian Ortlepp, Chief Reporter at German channel, Sport1, Louis van Gaal has now registered his interest in the Belgian international, who currently plays for Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.
After weeks of speculation linking him with a transfer to Manchester City, it now appears that he could be moving to the red half of the city in a deal said to be worth £55m.
It is expected that United's work in the transfer window is far from done with only three recognised strikers in their first team squad. Having recently missed out on Pedro, De Bruyne would bolster Louis van Gaal's attacking options and almost certainly irritate Manuel Pellegrini in the process.Explore more on these topics:
