Manchester City are poised to make a second bid for Wolfsburg's Kevin De Bruyne after proving their title credentials at West Brom on Monday.
Not content with blowing almost £50m on Raheem Sterling earlier in the summer, City are said to be close to repeating the feat- with the Guardian suggesting their second offer for the Belgium international will come to around £47m.

According to the Daily Mirror, City are confident of getting their man, believing their improved bid will prompt the former Chelsea forward to tell Wolfsburg he wants to leave.
After a convincing opener at West Brom, De Bruyne will add to an already impressive attacking line up at the Etihad Stadium.
