And now it seems that Bayern Munich let the German World Cup winner go for a bargain price
It was widely reported that the midfielder signed for around £15million during the summer. Not cheap but for a player of his quality hardly pricey - even allowing for his age and recent injuries.
But, according to German magazine Bild, the actual price agreed by both clubs was closer to around £6m - a cool million less than the fee United paid for Bebe.
If the player performs as well as he has so far this season, that £6m could prove to be the best piece of business of the whole summer, Pedro or no Pedro.Explore more on these topics:
