Louis van Gaal confirms he’s likely to be missing midfielder as injury list grows

Louis van Gaal has confirmed another injury blow to Manchester United ahead of their Champions League game with Wolfsburg.

Midfielder Michael Carrick is unlikely to be fit for the game, after being substituted in United's league victory over Sunderland at the weekend. Carrick is one of the more experienced members of United's squad and one of two survivors of their 2008 Champions League success.
