Manchester United's dull football has been hotly debated in recent weeks.
Although the club's name may be synonymous with attacking football, the low-tempo, patient approach of Louis van Gaal has drawn criticism from some of the club's supporters.
United may well be within striking distance of the Premier League summit and have their Champions League fate (just about) in their hands, but many fans are looking on in envy at their old rivals from down the East Lancs road.
Since taking over at Liverpool in October, Jurgen Klopp's team have produced some eye-catching displays. Wins away at Chelsea and Manchester City turned heads, but the 6-1 battering of Sothampton in the League Cup was perhaps the best of the lot.
The manner of Liverpool's victory has prompted plenty of comparisons between Klopp and van Gaal from some increasingly frustrated United supporters.
