BT's Champions League coverage finally got going this week.

With the panel taking their seats in the studio ahead of Wednesday night's action, host Gary Lineker decided he'd kick things off with a light-hearted joke. "To enjoy it all with us are Rio Ferdinand, Steven Gerrard and Ian Wright," Linker began. "All three have had their hands on this trophy. Rio and Steven in Moscow and Istanbul respectively... and Ian when he walked into the studio this evening." Laughing off Lineker's comment, Wrighty was quick to point out that Lineker's famously large ears have a strikingly similar appearance to the large-handled European Cup.
