Having been spotted at Stamford Bridge a couple of weeks ago, Didier Drogba was expected to return to Chelsea in some capacity in the future.

Perhaps what wasn't expected was that the Ivorian would be on the brink of calling time on his playing days. Manchester United v Chelsea - Premier League After one season in Major League Soccer with Montreal Impact, Drogba is reportedly set to leave Canada in order to join Chelsea's coaching staff, L'Equipe claim that Canadian sources have informed them that Drogba has informed Montreal's club president of his intentions, and that a severance package will now be negotiated between Chelsea and MLS.
