As the German clubs return to action from their winter breaks, Bayern Munich's Arturo Vidal will have other things on his mind as the season heads towards its business end.

As well as attempting to land the Champions League and Bundesliga titles in his debut season in Bavaria, the Chilean is also set for a court appearance. Prior to Chile's success in Copa America last summer, you may recall reports of Vidal crashing his Ferrari while reportedly under the influence of alcohol. As a result, the midfielder had his driving licence temporarily revoked by a judge in his home country. FC Bayern Muenchen Announce Signing of Arturo Vidal According to La Tercera, the Chilean paper, part of the court order was to donate 100 pairs of football boots to a school - something which the former Juventus star has seemingly failed to do. According to the player's lawyer, Vidal was unable to donate the boots due to low stock over the Christmas period and has now suggested making a financial donation instead. As things stand, Vidal is set to appear in court on February 18.
