Bastian Schweinsteiger has named Manchester United legend Eric Cantona as one of his idols as a child.
Speaking in a special Q&A session for Beats by Dre, the German international was asked which former United player would he most have liked to have played with, and named the Frenchman without hesitation.
Schweinsteiger also named Cantona (along with his parents) as being his biggest role model as a child.
The former Bayern Munich man, who is now older than Eric Cantona was when he retired from football, will be hoping to participate in his first Manchester derby this weekend, having moved to the city over the summer.
