Okay, okay... as far as Euro 2016 fixtures go, nobody on these shores really gives that much of a shit about it. But hey, regardless of who's playing, we can all appreciate someone absolutely smashing an absolute thunderbastard of a shot into the net, can't we? And with Romania leading thanks to a first half Bogdan Stancu penalty, that's exactly what Admir Mehmedi did to draw the Swiss back on to level terms. With 56 minutes played, the Romnians failed to clear a Switzerland corner. After bouncing once, the Bayer Leverkusen man hammered it into the far corner, giving a hapless goalkeeper no chance whatsoever. https://twitter.com/itvfootball/status/743129776542490625 Sure, it wasn't all that far out, but there's something very satisfying about seeing someone ping a ball into the goal with such a clean strike.
