Homenews

Nope, there's nothing more important in the world that he should be focused on.

One of the more perplexing stories that emerged from the final few weeks of the US presidential campaign revolved around Donald Trump and the use of his phone. In a report that was published by The New York Times - just one of the many groups that Trump has slated on social media - the President-elect allegedly had his Twitter privileges revoked by his own staff members due to his coarse and combative tweets. It should be noted that social media has provided Trump with a very large platform to reach his supporters, however, in a recent interview with 60 Minutes, Trump promised to be "very restrained” when it came to how he used social media in the future. This doesn't seem to be true though because the US President-elect is now using his account to criticise a satirical TV show and a Broadway musical. The speech from the cast of Hamilton asked some very pertinent questions, although Trump deemed that Vice President Elect Mike Pence was harassed. To be fair, Pence didn't seem to perturbed by the whole thing. https://twitter.com/FoxNewsSunday/status/800342125909069828   Trump felt compelled to have his say. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/800298286204723200 In case you're wondering, Hamilton received a record-setting 16 Tony nominations, winning 11, including Best Musical, and was also the recipient of the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album and the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Trump's career as a theatre critic hasn't gotten off to the best of starts. What about TV though? Who needs to focus on the Trump University scandal, ISIS, NAFTA, unemployment or the creation of a new cabinet when there are a bunch of comedians doing their jobs that need to be taken down a peg or two. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/800329364986626048 https://twitter.com/ABFalecbaldwin/status/800337003426484224 https://twitter.com/WilliamAder/status/800338819362983936 https://twitter.com/matthewjdowd/status/800331149247737857
