Local news is the best kind of news.

Even if there's nothing happening, the news has gotta keep going, which is why so many local news stories can prompt an arched eyebrow and a sighed "Really?" But for one local news station in America, there was a massive news story breaking, with 'massive' being the operative word: a giant cat, guessed to be a particularly large cougar, had been seen prowling around Hernando, Mississippi, near Memphis. Caught on camera, the big cat really is a big cat, and would pose a genuine danger to locals: look at the size of it! So naturally, being responsible news people, Fox 13 sent reporter Scott Madaus out into the field to cover the story. But there was something not quite right when they found the prowler. Yup, that's just a regular cat. Probably more likely to nip you on the toe than to slash your family up and feast on their carcasses. But you never can trust cats...
