There are few directors whose names manage to conjure an entire genre of filmmaking into the mind like Guy Ritchie.
Known for his London gangster aesthetic before later branching out into more elaborate Hollywood fare, his style and sensibility as a director is always noticeable.
From the gritty streets of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels to the polished Cold War games of The Man From UNCLE, Ritchie always manages to infuse his characteristic action and dialogue into his pieces.
But there is perhaps one that stands above the rest in the cultural lexicon, managing to embed itself as a touchpoint and reference for many films that have come since.
That's right - Snatch (2000) - containing one of Brad Pitt's most notable performances is on TV tonight.
On Comedy Central at 9pm, you can bask in the seedy underbelly of London's criminal world.
IMDb succinctly describes the plot: 'Unscrupulous boxing promoters, violent bookmakers, a Russian gangster, incompetent amateur robbers and supposedly Jewish jewellers fight to track down a priceless stolen diamond.'
Those who have seen the film will know the off-kilter humour and distinctive visual style make this ensemble film a joy to watch.
And if tonight's showing leaves you itching for more, well, there actually is more!
Unbeknownst to many of Snatch's biggest fans, there is actually a spin-off. And it's on Netflix!
The show was released in 2017 and ran for two seasons but received mixed reviews at the time.
However, audiences seemed to enjoy it more than critics as it currently has a 71% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
One critic said: "Snatch on Crackle pops. The new series, based on Guy Ritchie's 2000 movie, is a whole lot of fun, a stylish heist story with an irreverent sense of humour."
