Amber Heard petition reaches 3m signatures as she sacks PR team

Amber Heard has sacked her PR team as the petition calling for her removal from Aquaman 2 reaches a staggering 3 million signatures. Amber Heard, 36, is expected to testify in the coming weeks in the defamation trial that saw ex-husband Johnny Depp, 58, sue Heard for $50m. Heard is countersuing for $100m. According to the New York Post, Heard's PR team from Precision Strategies was sacked on April 28, citing bad press. “She doesn’t like bad headlines,” a source told the news outlet. Another person said the actress is “frustrated with her story not being told effectively.” With Heard expected to take the stand over the coming weeks, days even, it's believed she has hired Shane Communications on retainer.

At the same time, the petition calling for Heard to be removed from Aquaman 2 has reached 3-million signatures and counting. The Change.org petition reads: “Men are victims of domestic abuse, just like women. This must be recognised, and action must be taken to prevent a known abuser from being celebrated within the entertainment industry. “Do the right thing.
