The name's Smith, Brexit-Smith
Mark Brexit-Smith is standing as an independent candidate in Chorley. He's contesting the constituency against the speaker Lindsay Hoyle. Traditionally, the major parties don't put up candidates in the speaker's constituency. After the Brexit party asked Mark to stand down he registered as an independent. He was furious, and in response decided to change his name by deed poll to include the word "Brexit". The Green party's James Snelling is also fighting the seat.
