Before you played Destiny, Call of Duty and GTA, you probably had a much more wholesome videogaming experience. Instead of hardened army men and gangsters, as a child you may have played as cheery cartoon animals, jumping through colourful landscapes (unless you blagged a copy of Doom or Wolfenstein or Duke Nukem, that is)
Nintendo has always tended to stick to its family friendly outlook, and at E3 today announce several big new games for the Switch, featuring a lot of classic Nintendo characters from the 1980s and 1990s.
