Revealing a new set of visuals in preparation for the release of their upcoming album, The Wombats hilariously spoof fitness home videos for "Cheetah Tongue".
Fronted by four ladies all over the age of 60, the video plays host to Chores for your Cores, a mock VHS fitness show that educates viewers on making the best of home appliances when it comes to getting that much needed exercise. Only featuring in the video for a split second themselves, The Wombats leave their egos at the door in exchange for some weird and wacky art that borrows a little from Queen's "I Want To Break Free" (minus the men dressed as women).
Currently touring across the U.S., The Wombats will return to the UK for a sold-out tour through March, including a date at London's Alexandra Palace on March 27th.
Their new album, Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life, is due for release February 9th via Kobalt Music Recordings. It features "Cheetah Tongue", which was Annie Mac's Hottest Record in the World, as well as lead single, "Lemon To A Knife Fight" and "Turn".
