The real star of Top Gear has landed a hot new gig.
The mystery man in the crash helmet known simply as The Stig will join a new BBC entertainment show airing on Saturday nights.
Dermot O'Leary will host Getaway Car, scheduled for 12 episodes, with The Stig setting lap times for a range of top cars that will be showcased and tested on the programme.
Describing the show's synopsis, the BBC stated it will be a "funny, fast-paced and action-packed competition where only the best get to face the legend that is The Stig".
