Noel Gallagher has called on the government to look into resale of tickets.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, Gallagher was speaking after Sir Elton John claimed he would rather have empty seats at one of his shows than have people pay "extortionate" prices on websites that claim to offer fans access to 'sold out' concerts.
"I'm with Elton," the former Oasis star said. "People shouldn't really pay over the odds, but they do."
"You get forged tickets on those things as well. It's a terrible thing."
Gallagher explained that he saw no end to the problem while the resale of tickets remains legal.
"You need the government to sort it out," he added.
