Loads of times that Cristiano Ronaldo has looked just like David Brent

There goes Cristiano Ronaldo. I must remember to thank him.

At this stage, we're all more than a little accustomed to seeing the Real Madrid superstar unashamedly pose for photographs. But a recent entry to Ronaldo's bizarrely intense glare down the camera lens highlight reel struck us for one reason in particular. At first glance, nothing seems to be amiss here. Just 16 healthy gentlemen drinking in the delights of a last minute equaliser at the Camp Nou back in December. Then we took a closer look. We zoomed right in on the centrepiece. Ronaldo... Brenting it up a treat. Sure, an inauthentic pose with the thumb and forefinger cradling the chin is not exclusive to the cringeworthy protagonist of the BBC hit The Office. But then we dug a little deeper and we discovered that Ronaldo has looked like the Brentmeister General on more than one occasion. In fact, the Portugal captain has a rather impressive track record of just so happening to resemble Slough's proudest son.
