Kicking 2018's door down with a new album in tow, music's all-around badman Donae'O gifts fans with Party Harder.
On New Year's Eve the talented producer/rapper/vocalist/songwriter kickstarted the year in the only way he knows how. Dropping off what can best be described as one of the funkiest projects to soundtrack the start of any year, Party Harder boasts non-stop rhythms, head nodding baselines, addictive melodies and an array of talented guest artists. The album is a must hear for any Funky House connoisseur.
A nod to his seminal hit "Party Hard", there's no escaping the spellbinding vibe the album offers. If you close your eyes long enough and sink into the summery soundscapes you might just find that your soul has left you to go visit Ayia Napa for a few months - at least until the cold weather in the UK does one.
The 13-track album was produced entirely by Donae'O himself and features guest vocals from the likes of Don E, Section Boyz' Swift and Deep, Cherri V and Lioness, to name but a few.
A pioneer of the genre, Donaeo'O first started work on the album last month when he teamed up with Link Up TV to make a UK Funky House track in thirty minutes, the result was a track called "The Link Up", which is the second track on Party Harder.
Capping off what was a pretty busy year for Donae'O, which included releasing his SIXTEEN mixtape, featuring alongside Wretch 32 on the North London rapper's club smash "Whistle", as well as making some final mastering tweaks to Big Shaq's (aka Michael Dapaah) mega smash "Man's Not Hot", this album is for those looking for an excuse to get those feet moving.
Immediate stand outs include "Baby Love" with Cherri V, "It's Life" with Anton Romero, and the dangerous but seductive "Womp Womp", but once the DJs get a hold of Party Harder then all kinds of madness is going to take place and there will be stand outs galore floating across raves everywhere.
