Wayne Rooney has paid tribute to the victims of the Buncrana tragedy in County Donegal, Ireland.

A family of five lost their lives when their car fell into Lough Swilly on Sunday evening. Sean McGrotty, his children Mark and Evan, his mother-in-law Ruth Daniels and her daughter Jodie Lee Daniels, who was the sister of Derry City midfielder Josh Daniels, all tragically died. McGrotty's four-month old baby, Rionaghac-Ann, was heroically saved by former League of Ireland player Davitt Walsh. England and Manchester United captain Rooney paid tribute to the family on Twitter on Tuesday evening, offering his condolences and prayers for the victims. https://twitter.com/WayneRooney/status/712339294099279872?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
