Frankie Edgar was probably the second happiest man at UFC 196.

Conor McGregor suffered his first UFC loss when he tapped out to Nate Diaz in the second round of their fight, a shock result that few predicted. If 'The Notorious' had won the welterweight bout he would have most likely relinquished his UFC featherweight title, which he won from Jose Aldo at UFC 194 back in December. However, following his shock loss, it appears McGregor's next fight will be a defence of his title at 145lbs So it's little wonder Edgar, ranked third in the featherweight division, looked so happy at the moment when the Dubliner submitted.
