Yes, the audio was behind the video

BT Sport experienced technical difficulties with their Champions League coverage during the first half of Atalanta vs Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night. The audio of the fake crowd noise persistently cut out before eventually coming back, but it then appeared that the audio feed of the commentary was a few seconds ahead of the video feed. This, predictably, left viewers angry and confused. Especially when Pasalic gave Atalanta the lead, as Darren Fletcher shouted "Pasalic, he's scored!" before any of us had seen the shot. Cheers Fletch. https://twitter.com/FootballJOE/status/1293629439750934529 Even Sheffield United defender Ben Osborn was livid. https://twitter.com/OsbornOn1/status/1293629938877300736 Pretty much everyone watching had a complaint to make about the commentary ruining the goal. https://twitter.com/Billie_T/status/1293629060212563968 https://twitter.com/gunnerblog/status/1293630597248819202 https://twitter.com/BeardedGenius/status/1293630665561448448 https://twitter.com/ElMengem/status/1293630907249823745 Some viewers even turned a screenshot taken after Neymar missed an early sitter of Kylian Mbappe in shock and dismay on the sidelines to convey their feelings. https://twitter.com/jacob_culshaw/status/1293631047712874496 When notified of the issue, Darren Fletcher clarified that he did in fact not have a crystal ball that helped him predict the future, but explained the difficulty was caused by the thunderstorms in the United Kingdom. Is this what 2020 has come to? Choosing between not melting to death and having a problem-free football feed? Fuck this.
