The UFC have not ruled out staging a stadium show in Dublin, according to the organisation's Vice-President.

James Elliot, who also acts as UFC general manager for Europe, Africa and the Middle East, told Newstalk that an event could go ahead in Dublin even without the presence of Conor McGregor. The UFC chief said the organisation was impressed by how quickly previous shows in the city sold out. "We've sold out the two shows in Dublin in record time, even when the card was decimated through injuries in October - the fans still turned out and supported us really well," Elliot said.An aerial view of Croke Park 31/7/2010"That did not go unnoticed by everybody in Vegas. We certainly understand how big the fanbase is in Ireland, and how big it could be." The UFC Vice-President also claimed that the possibility of an event at the Aviva Stadium or Croke Park is "on the agenda." "Croke Park and the Aviva Stadium are two places that we've looked at, we've made no secret about that. Conor (McGregor) has certainly made no secret about the fact that he wants to fight in Dublin." "It's something that’s on the agenda."
