What a day to be alive (unless you're a Liverpool fan).

Tim Sherwood inspired his Aston Villa side to a famous 2-1 win over Liverpool to reach the FA Cup final. He's barely been at the club five minutes and he's already got his side to a Wembley final. If Villa beat Arsenal on May 30th Sherwood will have managed what Brendan Rodgers couldn't in three seasons at Anfield - win some shiny silverware. It all looked so rosy for the Reds as Philippe Coutinho opened the scoring - the dream of getting Steven Gerrard a valedictory cup was well and truly on. But Villa staged a fantastic comeback with red-hot Belgian Christian Benteke netting his ninth in six games before Fabian Delph scored the winner. Liverpool fans were utterly dejected. Might as well put that Brasso away for another season. Twitter predictably exploded...
