If your interest in UFC 196 lies purely in the McGregor v Diaz fight, then the McGregor Alarm app is definitely for you. The free app, which is available on Google Play, will set off an alarm five minutes approximately five minutes before the fighters get into the octagon. You'll even have enough time to make a strong cup of coffee for yourself! It was created by Lucan native, Gavin Pacini. mcgregoralarm Here's how it works: Pacini will be watching the entirety of the event. As soon as he sees McGregor getting ready to enter the octagon, he will send a message to a server which will trigger the alarm for everyone who has the app installed. Ideal for anyone who doesn't fancy missing their sleep and wants to watch the fight.
