England play Croatia in Texas on June 17th.

With the World Cup now just weeks away, Three Lions supporters have been issued with a warning and reminder to obey all state laws ahead of England's opening match in Texas.

Thomas Tuchel's squad play their opening match against Luka Modric's Croatia — a potential re-match for the 2018 World Cup semi-final — in the Texan city of Dallas, where supporters will need to be aware of an infamous but peculiar state law.

Earlier this week the UK Foreign Office issued a reminder that stressed the importance of knowing and following both local state and federal laws, as they travel to matches located in Texas, as well as those in Boston and New Jersey.

Alongside other typical legal regulations, one thing English fans should ensure not to miss, is the infamous Texas 'dildo law.'

Texas is actually the place where America's original law around sex toys was created.

Under the Texas obscenity statute, the distribution, promotion, and sale of "obscene materials" across Texas are controlled and regulated.

Where this impacts football fans is in a sub-clause of the law that caps how many sex toys you are allowed to possess.

The total permitted is limited to just five.

The official statute reads: "Six or more obscene devices or identical or similar obscene articles" is regarded as being one too many.

For anyone carrying six, the law would "presume' an intention to sell on the items, and could lead to some legal trouble with local authorities.
