Spurs players left red-faced by official tournament account mix up

Pre-season football will always involve some unfamiliar faces.

Whether it's new signings, returning loanees or youngsters getting a chance to rub shoulders with the first team, you'll often find yourself watching players in a certain club's colours for the first time. There can be a lot of legwork involved in identifying some of the lesser spotted players, but it's still important to get their names right. Especially if you're running the official social media account of the tournament in which they are playing. Now, the name Josh Onomah is one that some of us might not recognise. The Spurs youngster has played just 20 times for the club, and you could *maybe* forgive the International Champions Cup for stumbling over the spelling of his name. We say 'maybe'. One letter out of place might be forgivable. But spelling his name 'Marcus Edwards' is one hell of a typo. Teenage midfielder Edwards is another one of the unheralded names who featured for Mauricio Pochettino's teamin the International Champions Cup game against Atletico Madrid in Melbourne. It's an easy mistake to make. They're both English, they're both midfielders and they both play for Tottenham. Well, it would be an easy mistake to make if they didn't look nothing like each other.
