Rugby World Cup ticket prices for New Zealand v South Africa have changed drastically since 1995

When New Zealand took on South Africa for the Webb Ellis Cup in 1995, ticket prices were somewhat more modest.
It would have cost you 200 South African Rand [about £9.50] to watch the Springboks take on, and defeat, the All Blacks at Ellis Park in the 1995 final. It was a victory so sweet that Matt Damon and Clint Eastwood made a movie about it - Invictus - that showed about two minutes of rugby action.
The two sides met in the 1999 and 2003 World Cups and New Zealand twice avenged that earlier defeat.
On Saturday, Heyneke Meyer's Boks take on Steve Hansen's world champions in Twickenham and the price for a seat in the West Stand Lower will set you back considerably more than £9.50.
This ticket, displayed on the Rugby Banter Page, shows a ticket purchased for £515. That is more than 50 times more expensive than when the two sides met in 1995 - and that was in a final. In South Africa.
