It seems as though the cracks in Rafa Benitez's relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo are turning into deep crevasses
The Real Madrid boss attempted to improve Cristiano Ronaldo’s free-kick precision by asking him to undergo a biometric study, a request that didn't elicit the response he might have liked, according to Spanish outlet El Chiringuito. The Madrid superstar scored his first free-kick in seven months against Malmo last week, a poor showing considering he dominates the set-piece taking responsibilities at the club ahead of the likes of Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez. As a result of his disappointing free-kick conversion rate, Benitez asked him if he would be willing to do a biometric study, to see if he could improve his technique. The Spanish paper claims that Ronaldo stormed out of the room in a huff at the suggestion. This story comes just after Ronaldo spoke positively about his manager.“The coach is doing a very good job and is still adjusting to Real Madrid. Benitez is doing well.”
