"I've learned that Pep Guardiola already has reached a verbal agreement with Juventus for the next four years,"Guelpa told Radio CRC.
"It's the same person who told me that Ronaldo was going to Juventus."
Juve are currently on course to win the Serie A title for the eighth consecutive time but manager Max Allegri has been linked with a move away at the end of the campaign - some reports claiming he is on the shortlist to become the next permanent Real Madrid boss.
Guardiola signed an extension at The Etihad less than a year ago so it would come as a surprise if he did decide to leave Manchester.
One possible factor which might push him towards the exit is if City are severely punished following the investigations into their alleged breach of Financial Fair Play regulations. It was announced last week that both Uefa and the Premier League would be looking into the allegations, which have been published in German magazine, Der Spiegel, over the last few months.
