Patrick Kluivert’s Dream Team is one of the best we’ve ever seen

Patrick Kluivert played with some decent players over the years.

The Dutch striker turned out for Ajax, AC Milan and Barcelona during a highly successful, 18-year professional football career. He also played for Newcastle United but it was not a time abundant with goals and good memories. The 40-year-old, who is now director of football at Paris Saint-Germain having spent time in charge of the Curaçao national team, was guest of Sky Sports' Fantasy Football Club and divulged his dream team. Not only is it a great line-up, but it's one which - unlike many such selections - actually uses a proper formation and could function in a real-life game. With so many Champions League winners and La Liga champions to choose from, it will have been a tough task to separate one elite player from the next, but the former striker ultimately stuck himself up front with Luis Figo and Rivaldo on either side of him. Just behind, Clarence Seedorf and Ronaldinho are tasked with running the show while Pep Guardiola is the midfield anchor.
