Sometimes the simple jokes are the best.

No guff, no fluff. A bit of physical comedy works is all you need for a bit of a chuckle. Which is why we've been giggling at this bit of non-league football for a few days now. Ramsbottom United co-manager Paul Fildes recorded this special moment between his side and Glossop North End. The Evo-Stik Northern Division 1 North tie was going swimmingly; everyone was having a good time, and it looks like a freekick was about to be taken. So of course everyone was getting into position, including a fast retreating referee. Our favourite bit is how the referee slows down juussst before he makes contact with the kneeling player - he really has no idea what's going on. Then, plop. Digging a little deeper, and it appears our prankster was a happy chappy from Glossop North End by the name of Ben Richardson.
