Football nerds, feast your eyes on these mouth-watering Neymar numbers courtesy of Marca. As you can see from the graphic below, Barcelona's Brazilian phenom at 23 is ahead of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo when they were the same age.
Neymar has scored 183 goals in 317 matches for club and country which works out at 0.57 goals per game.
When Messi was the same age, his goals per game ratio was 0.55 and Cristiano Ronaldo was a bit off with just 0.36.
Neymar is in stellar form, netting nine goals and grabbing six assists in his past six matches. It seems with the likes of him and Luis Suarez at Camp Nou, an injured Messi isn't as big of an issue for the Catalans as it used to be.Most Viewed in sport
