A bet's a bet.

Spurs, Middlesbrough, Barnsley, West Ham and Wigan fans will remember Mido with varying levels of fondness. The mercurial Egyptian striker spent the best part of eight years in England and is something of a cult hero to some. A very small 'some' granted. The 33-year-old is now long retired and plies his trade as a professional football pundit for hire. Amongst other telly gigs, he is an occasional guest on beIN Sports and he was appearing on the channel when made to fulfil the forfeit for a regrettable bet. The North African foolishly wagered against Leicester City winning the league earlier in the season, and on the day they collected their trophy, it was time to cough up. But it wasn't money that Mido had to surrender, but rather his beloved flowing locks. That's right - the Egyptian was made to suffer the indignity of being shorn his hair live on television. Let's hope it doesn't have a Samson effect on his analysis. https://twitter.com/ForzaGioventu/status/729035371649077249?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw https://twitter.com/Guaxdiola/status/729034871360901120?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
