Mauricio Pochettino has been handed a two-game touchline ban and £10,000 fine after angrily confronting Mike Dean following Tottenham's 2-1 defeat to Burnley recently. Sky Sports cameras covering the game captured the moment the Spurs manager, flanked by some of his coaching staff, exchanged words with the referee shortly after the full-time whistle had blown in the Premier League game at Turf Moor. Pochettino has since acknowledged that he overstepped the mark and apologised, touching on the incident during an exclusive interview with JOE. Charged by the FA last week, the 46-year-old's ban means he will not be on the sidelines as Spurs face his former club Southampton at St Mary's at the weekend and as they take on Liverpool at Anfield on March 31. Dean was removed from fourth official duty for Tottenham's game with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last week. Spurs progressed to the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday night, following up their convincing 3-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their last 16 clash with a 1-0 win away in Germany.
