He might not be the most prolific goalscorer, but Liverpool's Fabio Borini seems like a thoroughly decent bloke.

The Italian recently married partner Erin O'Neill, with the happy couple deciding to forego gifts, instead asking friends and family to make a donation to the Anthony Nolan Trust. They have already raised more than £11,000 for the cancer charity, with half of the total coming through donations on their JustGiving page, and have pledged to make "a generous donation" themselves. https://twitter.com/Erin_ONeill_Xo/status/623807539172524032 Fabio and Erin were inspired by the experience of their close friends, whose young son managed to beat cancer following a bone marrow transplant made possible by Anthony Nolan. "Fabio and I want to try our best to raise funds to help raise awareness of the charity, raise awareness that we can all help, and help fund the recruitment of lifesaving donors to the register," Erin said. "About 30% of people in need can find a suitable donor in their family but the other 70% rely on a stranger to save their lives. Anthony Nolan helps that 70% find those precious matches, facilitating three transplants every day last year." H/T Liverpool Echo
